Author Guidelines

The journal is accepting manuscripts by EMAIL too. Please email your manuscript to   jdaf@minerva-aset.com

The journal publishes research papers and review articles. Manuscripts must be original, not having been published elsewhere and for sole consideration by this journal. The submitting author must obtain the approval of all the co-authors for the publication of the paper. It is also the submitting author’s responsibility to ensure that the article has all necessary institutional approvals. Manuscripts should concisely be written in English.

Submission

Submission to this journal is online. The main text is required in DOC file (Word). The tables and figures are required to be inserted with captions at the appropriate place in the manuscript (JPEG/TIFF). Please submit the manuscript with the following files:
-        A cover letter to the editor. The cover letter must state that all the authors approved that the paper to be submitted to the Journal of Design Against Fatigue, is original and is the work of the authors.
-        Main manuscript text.
-        Email address, affiliation and ORCID ID of all authors. The main manuscript follows the structure below:
1. Formats
The typescript should be double-spaced on A4 pages (21×29.7 cm).
2. Title
Papers should be headed by a concise but informative title. This should be followed by the names of the authors, their affiliations and addresses.
3. Abstract
The abstract (preferably 150-200 words) states briefly the purpose of the research, the contents and conclusions presented in the paper.

4. Keywords
Authors are requested to provide 4-6 keywords.
5. Introduction
State the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background from literature.
6. Materials and Methods
The methods should be described after the introductory material.
7. Results and Discussions
Results should be clear and concise. This should explore the significance of the results of the work, not just a repetition of them.
8. Conclusions
This should include key findings of the research.  
9. Acknowledgements
The acknowledgements should be inserted at the end of the article before the references. List here those individuals who provided help during the research.
10. Conflicts of interest
All relevant interests that could be considered as conflicting must be declared. If no conflicts exist, the authors should state this. Submitting authors are responsible for co-authors declaring their interests.
11. References
The references should be numbered consecutively throughout the text and should be collected in a reference list (headed References) at the end of paper. The references list should not include material that could more appropriately appear as a footnote. Authors should ensure that every reference appearing in the text is in the list of references and vice versa. Numerals for references are enclosed in square brackets in the text, e.g., [1]. Cite journals [1], books [2] and conference proceedings [3] In the reference list according to the following examples:

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
